The idea of creating a teen vampire sounds really tempting, especially if they don’t age up unless you do that manually. But I find one problem with it: going to school.If I want to play with a teen vampire, who never becomes adult, will s/he have to go to school forever? That sounds really boring, especially since I’d like to have my vampires up at night rather than during the day, which doesn't really work if you have to go to school in the morning. Do you know any way around this that doesn’t affect the kid negatively? Without mods would be nice, because I’m not used to mods.

I have a teen vamp in my household and she is already up to Master, and she has one tier of the sun resistance so far. As far as I know there's no way out of them having to go to school without mods, but you could also choose to just let them stay home and accept the failing grade. My teen vampire rarely goes to school, she's had an F forever, lol. If you want your teen vamp to stay a teen you could disable aging for the active household, or buy youth potions every time they start approaching young adult. I play with really long lifespans though so I have plenty of time to build up aspiration points to buy the potions. For people using MC Command Center, you can also flag the teen to not age if you still want the rest of the household to age. I'd be interested in a working drop out of school mod, but I haven't found one that's been updated.

Suppose you can have parent make a sun resistance potion at the bar and have it on cooling in fridge for them, but that would also require work plus remembering giving it to them before they'red out the door i guess.

Bumping this. I have a teen vampire who has skipped 3 days of school already because she's on the brink of death as soon as she walks out the door. Is there any way around this? And can teens become master vampires? I want my teen and her family to be day walkers.

I've come across a UI bug when it comes to teen vampires and school -- it looks like their energy is draining as if they're outdoors, but it really isn't happening. So when that happens to my teen vampires, I just ignore it -- they don't die, and when they come home, their energy is where it should be.
