- SimsBarbieNew SpectatorThe only other night shift is criminal. It would be awesome if you could choose to work daylight or nighttime for the science, detective and medical careers.
- NetzspannungSeasoned NewcomerVampires can also own a business - a restaurant or a store - then they can make their own hours.
- Frn0731Rising AdventurerI wish they could work the midnight shift at a blood bank. So suitable.

Ha! I never checked whether you can set the plasma packs for sale. How creepy would that be, if a child came in around 2am to buy a bag of blood. :D - annaliese39Seasoned NewcomerPart of my vampire lore is that vampires are unaffected by the sun and hiding in plain sight, pulling strings behind the scenes - they're in the police force, the hospitals, the media, the military, the legal professions, the government etc. There really is no escape. >:) Thus this hasn't been an issue for me. My friendly neighbourhood vampire has worked in culinary and business, and is now a stay at home parent and husband. He will likely become a writer once his daughter starts school and eventually purchase his own retail shop to sell his books. I suspect vampires without sun resistance are able to get to work too before they shrivel to dust, but I do see how this can still be an issue. I mean, if you see vampires as creatures of the night, then it doesn't quite work if they rise from their dark slumber at sunrise to serve humans their lunch for example. Current options then are the criminal career, self-employment (i.e. retail, restaurant, skill based e.g. writer etc.), or you could go for one of the careers with a stay at home option. A grand master vampire could make a great self-employed archaeologist or antique store owner for example or open their own plasma restaurant. I would like more night time careers or careers with night shifts though and not just for vampires but all sims, such as parents who are juggling work and childcare, or sims who are just night owls. Some more examples could be security guard, hotel assistant/manager, ghost hunter, casino dealer, alchemist...

My comedian sim works pretty late. I don't recall her exact hours off hand, but she comes home early in the morning.- Kita5399New SpectatorThis is why most of mine work at home as painters, or writers. I have one that is a gardener thanks to a greenhouse attached to his home. I agree it would be great to have nighttime jobs, even some of my regular Sims would benefit (especially with daycare not working properly now).

I saw someone say you can make a bank by using the vault on community lots, maybe you could make an actual blood bank haha and fill it with plasma packs and fruit and all instead of money.
