Yes, we have gotten lots of clothing worn my Hindu and other religions. The difference is Maxis didn't point out it was an article of clothing Inspired by a religion etc. They didn't virtue signal it. Not sure if I remember the fez though, and I'm not really familar of which religion uses it. Or if it's ancient Eyptian and not Muslim or another religous attire article.
Turbans (Hindu) are worn for particular reasons. My problem is there is no depth to articles, and no practices. If we are going to try to include every one in the world, then all have to be included in my book. And that's a chore Maxis would be working on for years and years rather than gameplay.
2. The hijab is a trigger to some for many reasons and a reminder to some that women aren't free in many countries where this faith and culture will not allow them to remove it. That's a stickler.
3. Dress up or let's call it representation has become the status quo of the game rather than the gameplay that would go along with it. I mean it's pretty silly to see a Sim in a turban without the white sheath that goes with it, and like in a bathing suit bottom and a turban (male) and them not having any gameplay to explain why they wear it and being worn with the wrong article of clothing. Dress up is just fluff and makes me think no depth to a game. All these things are an expression of a religion, but sort of dishonored when Sims can throw it on whenever and with whatever crazy outfit they want to wear (townies). Bathing bottoms, socks and sandals and a turban. Sort of insults a religious article of clothing.
But what do I know, I'm just here to make sure it really is all inclusive and not hype or fluff.
