How is it racist when being a Muslim has to do with religion? Any race can be a Muslim as any race can be Christian, Catholic, Buddhist, etc. Racism is not the word to be used here. Its pretty ridiculous to throw terms around incorrectly.
ETA: I just saw your repost and I see you said you didn't know what correct terms to use. I'm saying this out of kindness not spite but you are free to take it as you would like. This is why, I believe, it is best to think about things before you type. It's very insensitive to those who truly experience racism in this world to just throw around that term and I'm sorry to say, but it shows naivety.
