That pets aren't controllable. I always play with autonomy off because I can't stand my sims doing anything other than what I tell them. Even with the playable pets mod, pets still have autonomy, so I am unable to play a family with pets. I tried it and very quickly got annoyed with the pets wandering off and doing their own thing. I'm still disappointed that I can never have a family with pets in this game. I'm a huge animal lover and I wanted to give lots of pets to my families. I really wish that there was an option in settings to control pets and turn off their autonomy.
