Accessories on Hairstyles should be optional?

The way The Sims 2 for PS2, X-Box and GameCube handled this in a nice way and they never did it on pc is quite hilarious!

Absolutely think this should be a thing! Why in the world they ever decided to "attach" accessories to hair is beyond me! Especially since we actually have a hat category. And the thing is, even if I like the hair and the accessory together, it's always pastel, Barbie inspired neon-bright non-matching color for the accessory in the hair color my sim has, so then I have to either not use that hair, or totally change the outfit to match that darn hair accessory!

As a console player, I agree with this 100000%

I miss the hair accessories that can be just added to a hairstyle like in Sims 3. :'(

Weren’t those just separate hairstyles with or without hats/accessories?

But yeah I’d appreciate alternate versions of the hairstyles without accessories, like how we get versions without the ombre/streaks.

This would be great if you could customise the colour as well, especially useful when making a certain character.

At the very least yet us change the colour of the accessory. Also would like to see jackets seperate to tops, like select a top then choose a jacket if you want one.

At least let us change the color of accessories without having to change hair color. Just because my sim is a brunette doesn't mean I should have to plan a whole outfit around an orange ribbon.

I especially dont like it when there's accessories attached to hats. Like that headphones/hat combo from Get Famous? I like the headphones but dont care about the hat itself. I had to find cc of just the headphones by themselves.

Either let accessories on heads be optional or at least let us change the accessory's color.

I think they need to work on their "hats" system first. I HATE when I add a head accessory like a hat, cap, etc and it "floats" in the top of my sims head. Like... Ugly as hell.
