Achievements? Achievements!

This thread is not ment to be just a list, but also a place to discuss achievements, hints on how to reach each one as fast or as easy as possible.

Some achievements you'll unlock automatically during normal playing, but for some you'll need to "work". There are also hidden achievements you'll see only when you solve them. So if you want to get all achievements done, well... You're at the right place.

Notes:
- The post will be edited on each update that introduces new achievements and on each achievement related bugfix
- Achievements I didn't do yet or didn't see a screenshot someone did them - lack of number of points they add
- Sadly there is no "reward" waiting for you after doing these, they're there simply for fun, and fun they are!

Are you Entertained - 50
- Have a Sim reach max level in the Entertainer career.

Flying Colors - 50
- Have a Sim reach max level in the Painter career.

I, Spy - 50
- Have a Sim reach max level in the Secret Agent career.

Knack of All Trades - 100
- Reach max level in every career in The Sims 4.

Startup Upstart - 50
- Have a Sim reach max level in the Tech Guru career.

Stellar Work - 50
- Have a Sim reach max level in the Astronaut career.

Suave Criminal - 50
- Have a Sim reach max level in the Criminal career.

The Pen is Mightier - 50
- Have a Sim reach max level in the Writer career.

Up a Notch - 50
- Have a Sim reach max level in the Culinary Career.

Aspirational - 100
- Complete every Aspiration in The Sims 4.

Event Horizon
- Earn a Silver rating on every social event.

Ghost Family - 100
- Have a family of 8 playable Ghosts. (a household in fact, not an actual family of bros, sistaz, etc)

Ghostly - 25
- Have a Ghost in your household.

Honorary SimGuru
- Play the Sims 4 for 100 hours. (starting from 10/1/2014)

Host with the Most - 100
- Host 50 Bronze or better Social Events across all Sims.

In The Game - 50
- Play The Sims 4 for 24 hours. (starting from 10/1/2014)

Just Getting Started - 25
- Play The Sims 4 for 5 hours. (starting from 10/1/2014)

Knock, Knock… - 50
- Visit 25 different Lots in The Sims 4.

    Oookay... First input and it's not an optimistic one.

    Problem Child requires you to reach maximum Mischief as a teenager.

    Doesn't work!
    I got mischief level 10 on a child. No achievement.
    Reloaded the point before getting kid to level 10 mischief, aged the kid to young adult, reached mischief level 10, again no achievement.

    Maybe there is something more needed here?
    Anyone made this achievement or should I report this on EA answers HQ?

    Just so you know I wasted a couple of hours to get no achievement in the end:

    Hey, since you have collected all the collectibles, can you tell me how you find the elements? Cuz I only found one and I kinda forgot how I did it. I know my sim dug up some rocks but are those the elements in the capsule (box thing)? Cuz usually I find MySims trophies and it's so annoying. Thanks.

    I wish achievements were account wide and not save bound. I like normal achievements rather than ones stuck to a save.

    I've killed JB with the cowplant. Then the Grim Reaper shows up and we invited him to a party to celebrate JB's death. After a while I've earned an achievement for being friend of the Grim Reaper. YAAAAAAAYYY MEEEE! (*) :D (*)

    Side note:
    I should've earned another achievement for killing that celebrity, just saying. :#

    Some more info about Problem Child achievement.
    I've tried also by completing chief of mischief aspiration on young adult - no use.
    Then I've tried by making the same mischief kid from above declaring an enemy on both his mother and father. Again, no achievement. Only angry and very angry emotion. Bah.

    I don't have any more ideas what could devs set as a problem child in this game. A kid that skips doing homework perhaps? That would be cretinous.
    So I'm abandoning that achievement until someone gets it (if it's even possible) and posts the correct requirement.

    Erm... I'll make a fresh thread about collections as elements are tied to minerals and can't be collected separately.

    As many already know, I went completionist route, got all skills maxed, gathered all collectibles (except gardening which is bugged) and did all careers and aspirations.

    So I'm now trying to get as much achievements as I can.
    I will return to this thread for each new achievement or a few I grab and edit the post. New ones I get will be not just bold but also italic so you know it's not an achievement you get automatically from completionist route but you need to do something additionaly to get it. And I'll describe the best/fastest way for it.

    Do we have a deal? :)



    Achievement are what are in games that aren't a sandbox. Because the sandbox can't deliver the sandbox so they throw in fillers to pass the gamer's time.

    This makes me hope they put ghosts back in the game soon. Would love to see screenshots of your Sim being haunted by a yard full of angry murder victims. :p

    Okay I'll try to do that achievement next. I know you did the graveyard by being evil (still having your thread bookmarked!), can't be arsed to gamble with silly cow plant that kills nothing for days so I'll try with laughter killer if that's even possible. >:)
