My sim just stays at home & it still goes past the time that she's supposed to go to her gig. I'm just going to have her quit then go back to the career. If it still persists, then I'll just have her run my clothing store. I have an issue with the detective career as well, my husband would have to issue an APB like 3 times before the suspect would appear in the cell waiting to be interrogated.

I’ve been doing the no traveling and the not save and quit before the gig . It seems to be working for me. I haven’t tried the detective career but I want to. So thanks for letting me know what type of bugs I’ll be running into.. haha

So sad there are still game breaking bugs in old packs !

The limitation on traveling and other loading screens applies to the whole household. If you are joining the detective husband at work, that's probably why your actress sim isn't going to her gigs. You have at least two loading screens every time you join him at work (one to get there and one to get home) and more than that when he goes to a crime scene or issues an APB.

I tested this issue and the workaround helped me avoid this issue.

Hope someone will tell us it's working again. One of my sims sole purpose is to do this acting career. I don't want to play him if can't goto gigs.

Please see the workaround in the link above :smiley:
1. Select a Gig
2. Go to Audition
3. Go to Gig

The key is not to quit the game until the gig is completed.
