If you pause and then move the trailer slowly forward you can see the following challenges when they are scrolling the wheel: 

creative skill contest
activity shuffle
everyone hates each other
romantic competition elimination
cooking competition
player choice elimination

When it comes to these contests, I hope that they have made it so it's not just the sim with the highest skill that wins, but that there is either a bit if a chance to it or maybe sims could do something to give them a higher chance of winning.
