Adventurous dogs

My Sim just completed the lighthouse adventure with her dog. I was surprised to discover that it followed a story; I'd thought the adventures were just a one-time rabbit hole. She's working on the one set at the wharf now.

    What are these adventures?

If you have a dog with the adventurous trait, your Sim can choose "go on an adventure" when you click on the dog.
  • Wow! Thanks for the info. I had no idea that was possible and it sounds like a lot of fun.

I've only done one so far. My sim and his puppy went to the town square, ran into another sim, helped him up from the fall, continued their adventure with their new acquaintance, and came home. Left me wondering what would have happed if my sim had just gotten up and not helped the other sim. Also, I wonder if adult dogs have longer or more complicated adventures than puppies.

I think that adult dogs do have longer adventures. You also have to go on an adventure several times with your dog to get the whole story.
  • I only went adventuring once with my dog. Thought it was nice, but now it sounds even better.

The wharf seems to have a story, several chapters anyway.

I'll definitely be doing it again, eventually. My sim is now a single father to a toddler, on top of tending his garden. Actually, I'm considering just leaving this save until next week so he can get paid for gardening. ;)
