Dear Worried Roommate,
To help your roommate from rifling through the kitchen trash, I recommend that you invest in some type of NanoCan trash receptacle for your kitchen (or, indeed, any room in your home where food is likely to be discarded), as this style of waste disposal vessel handily compacts and then disintegrates any, and all, matter placed into it.
Please be aware, however, that while doing this will prevent your roommate from accosting your trash can at home, it will do nothing to prevent her from doing so with any such waste disposal units she may come into contact with outside of your abode. Because of this, you may also wish to choose to not accompany your roommate to any special events or gatherings that you may both be interested in attending.
She's so gluttonous. She can't stop. She eats raw prepped meat out of the fridge. That's another issue.
