Advice Needed, Please Help RESOLVED, UPDATE: PICTURES

How does one throw a successful wedding, if the Event's calendar doesn't give the venue your Sim wants their wedding to be held? So far, I've seen nothing from HoB offered. There is a park in Bramblewood, the Isle of Volpe? It's quite nice and the trees are laced with lights. I've canceled the wedding three times, unable to find it, and unhappy with the second and third place choices. I even had my Sim go to each location to check the weather on the calendar. Yes, I've had to go back into the Time Portal, so my Sims must marry again. The last time they got married at the Bluffs, but I had no idea it would rain!

I do believe someone suggested the Sim travel there and then the weather would be known. I have noticed the weather being different on the calendar as he traveled about, at least. But, I'm still dissatisfied, with the current choice, despite the fact I've already completed the set-up.

Do I simply invite the desired Sims to hang out?

Do I invite the seven allotted to travel with you and ask the rest to hang out?

How does one summon the guests to a 'spontaneous' wedding in the woods?

Please, and thank you, in advance!

the ever-grateful,

~GalacticGal

Oh I'm typically an Americano guy but the PSL is love, the PSL is life.
  • @GalacticGal - What a great idea! I'm glad your wedding went so well, and your pictures are terrific!

Thank you so much! In some ways it was actually easier than the Wedding Event, made to fail in some manner. LOL Nobody watches anyway, but since this was a Weenie Roast, psychologically, it didn't have me tied in knots that the guests weren't really paying any attention. Oh, well. Turned out successfully in the long run.

Thank you, I was pleased with how it all turned out in the end.
  • Very cute pictures!!

I think you can also change the National park to park and it should work for a regular wedding.
