Ae Dust Bunnies Just For Show Now?

I finally turned off the dust it’s just too annoying for me. The dust bunnies are cute, but I only want vacuuming for some families. I tried to keep a dust bunny as a pet but even when I fenced it in , it would jump to another place, and it seemed like I was always vacuuming ( and that was supposedly after they nerfed them ). I may try again with another family, I wish it were like laundry day where you had to have a clothes basket ( and/or a washing machine ) to accumulate clothes for a wash, some families I use laundry day, some I don’t. I’m guessing I can go in and turn the dust back on when I have a family I want to accumulate dust….,and turn it back off for those I don’t. I don’t remember them giving Automatic Simoleons when I played them without being asked, but I didn’t play with them long, they got annoying.… but social would have certainly been a good idea.

yeah i was getting alot of simoleons from them when they first came out but they dont seem to give anything now was wondering if they made simoleons valuables as you can ask them to search for valuables

Yeah a lot of people were complaining that the dust bunnies were making their families too rich. I play rotationally, and I’ve never had a truly rich family I didn’t cheat with ( most I don’t cheat with, but there are some like the Landgrabbs I do cheat with to own businesses other sims can go to. I guess my sims like to go out and spend their money…. Lol.

Long as you have them in a good mood they're just for show, but less they get a bad mood expect things to be set on fire. They turn into dust fiends the more you ignore them. :#

Have a family with one of my sims children that enjoy having a friend of sorts to play with.

did you befriend that dustbunny?
I've got befriended dustbunnies in 2 households and they stay in one place (but they will make the floor they are on dirty faster).
Only the unbefriended jump arround (teleport).

same, I really dont get why they didnt make it like LD, they could've added like a "Vacuum closet" or something that when added into a house would give the dust function...

Once you befriend a dust bunny, it won't go away when you vacuum. You can ask it for valuables. Usually money is in the 30-60 simoleon range, but my Sim did get one of the treasures from Selvadorada that was worth 10,000.

The youngest Sim in my family is yet a Child Sim. He befriended "Bun-Bun" and sent the dust bunny off to find some treasure. It came back with a nice collectible for the lad.

Did they change it so they don't bring stuff autonomously? I have a mod to stop it and I guess I don't need it if it was changed.

I think they must have done cos I don't receive anything without asking.
