After installing EA app to run game now can't open origin at all

I know that other people had this issue and there is a couple of threads mentioning work arounds, by making a sims 4 short cut with sims 4.exe file, and I did that, but didn't work. I did post on the...

Do you use mods?

What I do when the game is being wonky, is I remove my entire TS4 folder out of "My Documents" and put it someplace safe, like my desktop, then I let the game generate a new one and see if that helps.

If I can get the game to start with the newly generate folder, then I move back my mods, tray, and saves files in the new folder.

If it starts acting weird again, then I know it's mod related and will have to figure out which one is causing issues.
