Aging is on, I had lifespan set to long, but I was getting bored so I switched it to normal. My sim child doesn't have a birthday for like 6 days or something, but the mom has a birthday. I accidentally forgot to celebrate it and then she aged up with no birthday but she was sad because it was forgotten (lol) So then I reloaded my game, realized the dad was going to turn into an elder the same time mom was turning into an adult, so I gave him a youth potion and planned a party for mom. I made the event and cooked the cake when the event was happening because I was running out of time. The cake has birthday candles, but now no one can blow out candles or anything, even the mom and it's her birthday. I checked the Simology, and she hasn't turned into an adult (from young adult)
