AHQ Merging With EA Forums

Very strange timing indeed. It's only a few days but a few days but I hope that doesn't mess up whatever nostalgia now is going to be.

Well, now, I can devote more time to my secondary game, if that's the case.  I just hope this merging turns out to be a good thing. I don't mean to be so negative all the time, but I really expected the type of change we had from 2-3-4. That was smooth as butter. This time, not so much. I don't call the setup on these 'forums' so very workable. In fact, it's very easy to lose track of something one has posted themselves. 😬

So not posting my Strangerville Mystery story today then. Good to know. I hope that while the site is down they also figure out the avatar issue. It's getting ridiculous.

Apparently the merge from the old site to this new one, in fact, did not merge all information.  Only 2 years of posts show on my profile from old site and the actual date that I started being on the OLD EA forum is not reflected at all.  

Well, the post I did 13 days ago here, is now incorrect!!!!!   EA is still updating from the previous site.  Here is proof!   I don't know why it came out so blurry.  But I got my 9 year badge today!   along with years 1 through 8!   😁 I have actually been supportive of Sims games since March of 2000 when my daughter bought the 1st pack as a gift to me!

JesLet40Just curious, Is it there for you to see now?  I am looking for stuff I posted a few months ago on the old site now.    and I know it's still updating!  Lots of people, new site, lots of info to merge.  I am surprised that that badges I had on the other site are now merging here.  Not sure what all will come over, time and patience will tell all.  It .......is....... a........huge task!!!!  

Do you mean my avatar? It comes and goes, sometimes it's a new random one, sometimes it's blank. I've given up trying to figure it out. I still want my custom one, that I used to have on the old forums, but not holding my breath for that.

What's the status of the merge because I've gone from over 70 badges on AnswersHQ to just 14 here? Still migrating or what?
