Alien Abduction of an Alien is a Thing?!

Hmm, is it more common for aliens to get abducted then? I originally started playing with just the female Sim and she was abducted a couple days into my game and then again later in the second week. I was surprised that she was abducted at first, but figured that she wouldn't become pregnant (similar to The Sims 2) and just as I had surmised, she didn't. However, when her husband was abducted I really wasn't expecting him to become pregnant either since he was an alien...but...yeah.

Maybe Earth has an effect on the alien's reproductive rate and that's why they've chosen to visit and...closely inspect the inhabitants? Perhaps the abductions of other aliens are actually the alien home world debriefing their agents or questioning former citizens that have chosen Earth as their new home...but then why send back the males pregnant? Perhaps the teleportation device is in some way living and pregnancy is just a side effect of space travel for males? Any other theories? ;)

I think how they finish up the abduction is most telling (and always makes me grin). When they are "done" with one of their own kind they set them down gently on the ground. The human abductee is not so lucky and get's spit out rudely. When I play an alien and they get abducted I just figure they are going on an extra special visit..

I once had my sim activate the dish for alien contact and had alien visitors come to the house. Through the course of the evening I had two UFO's show up and both times they took one of the alien guests and ignored my sim lol.

I ended up with 'mock' triplets in a similar fashion. My 2nd Gen. Heir came home from the police department rather late. He got abducted, no baby, phew. However, a few Sim days later my soon-to-be Gen. 3 Heir was all set to get married. We're talking the arch is up, the guests are arriving, the caterer, mixologist and entertainer have all arrived. My Gen. 3 groom, walks around the corner of the house and suddenly is caught in the light! Up he goes and I'm thinking, 'oh, no!' the wedding! You know weddings are rather costly. LOL I panicked and the bride click on the wedding arch. Suddenly the groom was returned, and then I thought to myself, "I just blew it." I honestly didn't think he'd been gone long enough for a potential pregnancy. Well, the wedding resumed and the couple enjoyed their wedding night. She got preggars right off.

One evening, they were invited out to go dancing. What young newly married couple would say no, right? At one point I did a double-take at the young hubby. I even snapped a few pictures. He was looking a tad paunchy. Can't find those pictures, but there is a couple here:

The long and the short of it, is his wife gave birth to a girl, and several Sim hours later, he gave birth, too. Twins, a boy and a girl. Needed the boy because my legacy was a Patriarchy. His babies were lavender.

I believe getting abducted depends on how many aliens your sim knows and how good friends they are. In one save I created a couple of alien communities and they were getting abducted left and right. I had three aliens get pregnant in that save and I didn't even play it that long :D

It does happen, yeah. My alien lady got kidnapped a few days ago while in her alien form, but it was her own fault, she was calling aliens via the computer. Depending on what story I have in mind for that particular sim, I always come up with some explanation as to why they would get kidnapped.

In this particular case, the alien in question was Samara, an Asari justicar from Mass Effect, and in my mind, she was called upon for a special assignment on another planet that only a skilled and experienced justicar like her could handle.

Yes, I had it happen. I had an alien scientist who constantly got abducted by aliens (the irony). Soon I just enclosed the abduction area so he can't get there and get abducted (there are too many babies in the household already!). He got pregnant by one abduction and had twin girls. Soon his non-alien wife divorced him and married a normal sim and he's still single with three children (one hybrid, two pure alien).
Now he sells the objects he creates in the scientist career. One alien bought a wormhole and soon after he got home he got abducted. He didn't get pregnant that time, but he did get pregnant when trying for baby with his alien-wife (who also became pregnant). In short, they both were pregnant, wife had a boy and husband had twin girls (why game?).
Now that I think of it, my game is weird...

Ha ha ha, these experiences are awesome! This is why I love The Sims. You just never know when something goofy is going to happen and ruin your best laid plans, LOL :D
