There has been a lot of speculation in the forums when it comes to the prices being increased. Yesterday stuff packs, expansions packs and game packs were increased in money due to the global market today. The countries that have been affected are:
●Brazil
●Canada
●Denmark
●Italy
●Korea
●Mexico
●Norway
●Poland
●Spain
●Sweden
●South Africa
●United Kingdom
I understand that the rates and exchanges go up in different countries each day, but why pay more for something that isn't even worth the money? Many people, including me buy expansion packs, stuff packs and game packs even when we think it isn't worth it. It would be fine if it was a physical copy with a disk but not a code that automaciltly goes onto your origin account. What are we actually paying for? Many expansion packs have gone up by 50% in some countries.
It would have been nice to have a official statement explaining what was going to happen with the prices and what countries are affected by it. It could have a announcement on here which nobody could reply to and could have been done a lot earlier than yesterday. This have could have prepared people for what was going to happen. Laundry was realsed today, again why just before it was realsed? It would have been nice EA.
I live in the Uk and these are the prices:
£34.99 for a expansion pack
£17.99 for a game pack/ was £13.99
£9.99 for a stuff pack / was £7.99
I would really for EA to apolisge to all of the players, as many people are leaving the game because of the price increase. Many people are downloading codes illegal in order to get the game. Many are boycotting the game due to this.
