All the sudden my sim won't play the guitar.... don't know why.

I tried to play the guitar yesterday, and my sim would not do it. When I clicked on it and selected play or practice or whatever... it went into my que but with a slash through it and then it disappea...

Did he put it down somewhere he can't actually reach the front of it? The same thing happened to one of my sims with her violin - she put it down with the front facing a wall & wouldn't play it again until I moved it.
