All these danged calls about new friends... Oh gawd please make them stop

Why oh why oh why did they code this into the game? For what unearthly purpose do these repeated calls that zap me out of super-fast mode serve???? I haven't yet found a current mod to end the madness...

So, my Sims had a big sad over Jana dying, even the grandchild who had never met her grandmother. However, it did make sense for Jana's daughter to be upset, even if they lived in different households, so I'm fine with this. Except that grandma isn't really gone - her ghost keeps calling and sending texts to her daughter. Be dead, okay?
