Alright, why are most pants options so terrible?

Seriously, so many expansions and still it's hard to just find normal pants! I'm no fashion person, do people actually wear what's in the game on a regular basis these days? Pants at weird heights...

I'm American and I can assure you that where I live, men do not wear jeans that are above the ankles. Some of the younger guys do wear skinny jeans but those go down to the top of the shoes.

Maybe it's a Cali thing and all of the men there are dressing like Don Johnson did, back in the 80's with his short white pants and no socks!
