Let's Google "turn on" and we'll get:
turn on
start the flow or operation of something by means of a tap, switch, or button.
"she turned on the TV"
[Informal] excite or stimulate the interest of someone, especially sexually.
"if that's what turns you on that's fine by me"
Let's Google "turn off" and we'll get:
turn off
stop the operation or flow of something by means of a tap, switch, or button.
"remember to turn off the gas"
leave one road in order to join another.
"they turned off the main road"
[Informal] cause someone to feel bored, disgusted, or sexually repelled.
"the idea just turns me off"
Notice the "especially sexually" part in turn on? Yep, the words "turn-on" and "turn-off" are mostly in the context of love and WooHoo. Not to mention The Sims 2 used the same words for traits that determine the romantic chemistry.
And as told I've mentioned and I'll mention again: Growing Together exists. They recently made it so that high Social Compatibility won't make it easier to romance the sim too.
Personally I'm aware of the definition of turn ons/offs, all I'm asking is how OP believes turn on/turn offs should be expressed within the context of aromatic relationships. I am (and I doubt others are) still none the wiser however and I agree with you that Growing Together seems to have that system in place already.
It's impossible for me to understand what exactly the issue is if it's not clearly explained to me/us by the person who has an issue with it, so I'm going leave it at that.👍🏻🚀
