Am I the only one that thinks way too much about the scenery in the Sims 4?

Maybe this sounds stupid but every time a new expansion pack got released and I went to play with it I always noticed how detailed the surroundings are and how much work got put in to it while it's ju...

Default TS4 camera mode centered on the ground makes me think we are not meant to see the backdrops at all times, only occasionally.

Which is a shame because some of these worlds really are beautiful, even with their lack of interactivity/customization.
