Am I the only one who gets worse at building houses with each new sims game?

I feel like my houses just look worse with each new instalment, that and sims 4 has some terrible build tools when it comes to stairs, balconies and such. I really hate what they did there. And sa...

I actually find the sims 4 really easy to build with. Stairs and balconies can be tricky and it does take some fiddling around but once you get the hang of things the building possibilities are endless.
