Do you know, I'm totally baffled by the obsession with cars lately? I can't help wonder if it's only because you haven't got them that you want them...
I'm actually quite pleased cars aren't in the game - I'm seeing the sims walking around town, not taking a car to drive 30 yards down the road and get out again.
Where I live, I'm in the centre of town so we walk everywhere. We don't take a car, or a cab just to go to the shops. We walk it and that's why I prefer not having cars in Sims 4. The sims in 3 just got obsessive about them and used them, or cabs, to go everywhere. It feels more realistic, for me, to have sims walking around the neighbourhood.
