Sims 4 got off to a bit of a rough start, but comparing early packs to later ones I can definitely see an improvement. This isn't to bash early content, but just to recognize how well the devs have learned the vagaries of the game and been able to work with it. Certainly some things work better than others, but most of the time it's just the Law of Unintended Consequences in action and with a bit of fine tuning the various features (like CL festivals with Seasons, or celebrities showing up and distracting everyone even DJs) will work just fine together. I think Toddlers marked a big turning point in the game and we've gotten a good mix of pack content -- some for families, others for older or single Sims -- since then.
