Help me choose my next heir

Hi everyone!
In one of my Legacy Challenges (the Follow the Whim Legacy) I’m wrapping up generation 4, and it’s time to pick the heir for generation 5. The catch? According to my challenge rules, I’m not allowed to choose the heir myself!

Kane Hampton
Kane is the oldest one of the three eligible heirs. Kane's mother is Hannah Hampton, the current heir, and his father is Russell, Hannah's first boyfriend with whom things sadly didn't turn out, but at the same time they couldn't quite let each other go either. Long story short, Kane came into the world because of them.

Kane is a mermaid, which he inherited from his mom, who turned herself into one. His traits are Green Fiend and Evil, but honestly he's not even evil, I always forget he has this trait cause he doesn't act like it xD If he happens to become the next heir, I'm thinking he's feeling like he missed so much time with his dad that he moves in with him in Strangerville. From there on, I'll see what happens :P

 

Abel Hampton
Abel is the middle child who was conceived through science. After Russell, Hannah got together with a woman named Maritza and they wanted kids together too.

Abel is a normal Sim and has the traits Proper and Loves Outdoors. Let me tell you, he's like the perfect son in law, I tell you that. If he happens to become the next heir, we'll probably move out to Mt. Komorebi. This world sounds very fitting for him in my mind.

 

Aubrie Hampton
Aubrie is the youngest child who was conceived through science, just like Abel. Sadly her bond with Maritza wasn't good for a really long time and that definitely left scars. She's pretty quiet and likes to be left alone, or with pets. She seems to be content with her current life on Sulani, surrounded by the beautiful islands.

Aubrie is a normal Sim and has the traits Child of the Islands and Dog Lover. When she becomes the next heir, it feels like I should stay in Sulani because of her traits. I don't know if this will limit me or not.

    Aubrie is so cute! But if you’re looking to change up your gameplay out of Sulani I’d go with Kane and maybe make him do the Strangerville story? Make him join the military or something?

    I like that Kane is evil but it's subtle. And he goes to Strangerville and helped with the problem there, would he be evil and let the problem continue? 
    Also Aubrie, curious to see how her relationship with her mother will affect her later on. 
    Aubrie but Kane is a very close 2nd

    I like Kanes story. And I like that he is going to move to Strangerville with his Dad. Sounds like a fun story to play with.

    I’d pick Aubrie. But my second choice would be Abel.

    I think both Kane and Aubie sounds interesting. But with Kane, how will a mermaid manage to live in the desert? Could be interesting, or just turn out to be impossible. I mean how far does showers stretch? But the Strangerville story has interesting gameplay. Are occults open in this world of yours, or would Kane needs to hide that he is a mermaid from others? Such as the goverment and soldiers that are so abundant in Strangerville?

    As for Audrie and gameplay, I suppose that depends on how you have played Sulani so far, but there is a few things to do there so it doesn't have to be repetitive.

    I would choose whoever I'm most interested in playing with and whoever has the most plans. I would choose Abel personally because I think someone living their life in the mountains or has a plan to climb the mountain. I also think playing as a mermaid would be fun but I think it would be quite hard to live as one in Strangerville. But I think Aubrie would be nice to play with especially if there's still more you want to do in Sulani.

    My vote is for making Kane the Heir. 

    I think the possible unfolding story of a merman living in a desert location would be fascinating. 😊
