No, I'm not sure. Not altogether. Drake passed before I installed the mod, Joseph just after, as well, now as Carina. I'll ask over at KS' Discord to see if this could possibly be the culprit. Thanks for responding!

If this is not mod driven, maybe the program is trying to push for the Ghost Family or Ghostly Achievement.

No, but I should. My Global Superstar is usually left with ambrosia by his Obsessed fans. I usually have him sell it. They didn't perish on my active lot, which is also problematic. Don't you have to have access to the ghost? I don't even really know how to use ambrosia. Do they eat it? And presto alive again or is there more to it than that?

Thank you so much. Yes, things are hard enough in our lives right now, without my Sim family being shredded. After all the iterations of this particular family I've played, for the very first time, ever, I'm enjoying the domestic life with my Global Superstar. I'm not bored at all by it as I've been in the past. Nor am I looking around for a 'better' reason to start them anew. So, yeah it's a body-blow to be certain. As things stand there is only one grandmother left from that generation. When she showed up at her husband's memorial service, her hair was gray! :open_mouth: Her only daughter has already lost both of her parents-in-law, too. So Louise Cantrell is the lone holdout. Question is, for how long? :'(

MYSTERY SOLVED: I sought help over on KS's Discord and missed the response because I was busy playing my game. LOL Turns out there was an announcement for us to remove the Memorable Events mod from our games until KS can fix the problems it was causing. I won't pretend to understand the technical stuff mentioned, but suffice it to say I removed that mod toot-sweet. I shall now roll back to a save after Drake perished but before Joseph died, since he wasn't meant to die at this time, I hope. It likely means I'll have four toddlers again, but I would rather deal with that chaos over the loss of so many loved ones in one week's time! Plus, Erik is going to have to get himself down to the Recording Studio, overtime, because he had released 17 albums to date. I'll have to check to see how many he has when I pick up the game on the roll-back. Thank goodness I do the Save As manner of saving. Wish me luck and thank you so much, each and every one of you who were quick to respond. The Tea was wonderful and the Cookies quite delicious. :) I'm feeling so much better with the support.

UPDATED UPDATE: Today, I decided to make a back-up folder of my saves. I had already pulled the Memorable Events mod from my game and deleted the localcachethumb.package to be rid of any bits of information. I rolled back to an earlier game save wherein the family (minus Grandpa Drake Golden, of course) were all there to celebrate Jamison's birthday and enjoy his party. In fact they were in the midst of it when the save was opened, which was Saturday by the Sims' calendar. Today is Sunday. I sent my Sims to church and afterward they decided to bring Carina with them out to lunch. Erik, Kayleigh, Hayleigh and Joey take seats at the six-top I had placed in that restaurant ages ago. Joey got up to relieve himself, but Jamison and his grandmother are sharing a conversation in the lobby. Suddenly all six cell phones go off (nine in total, since, again, even the three toddlers left at home with the Nanny had that ringing arch over their icons). Joseph had moments ago texted Jamison telling him he'd made his favorite dish and wouldn't he like to come over and have a bowl? Of course, the boy turned him down since they were already at the restaurant. The long and the short of it is, Joseph is dead. So, it's not the mod after all! True enough he died a day earlier and when I checked his age at the birthday party he was still an Adult. Now, I'm really worried. Because Carina died about a week after her husband, Drake. :open_mouth: I can't blame it on a mod, this time! Oi!

LittleMsSam's mod allows you to create an urn for any ghost. You need an urn or gravestone (not one of the decorative Vampires ones). If you don't have one, you can find them in the debug objects. Its part of her Random Small Mods

Also, if you are using MCCC you can flag sims not in the household to not be culled by the game, IIRC its under population or flags. They will still die.

I was going to suggest using the MCC immortal flag, until you are ready to release the grandparents, but did not want Ellupelluellu to pop through the screen and bite me. ~grins~
