Also:
Check your Recycle Bin for MCCC folders and restore it (let it override the updated version of MCCC).
Move the .cfg files (MC settings and Dresser if used) to the desktop or a backup folder somewhere.
Update MCCC again.
Place copies of your .cfg files in the MCCC folder to restore your settings.
Load up your game and use the restore function on your save game rollback to a previous version.
You might lose some progress, but it's better than losing the whole save. You also get your original settings back in case you missed something.
- If you deleted individual files rather than the folder, just restore the .cfg files (MC settings and Dresser if used), create backups of them and skip to step 5.
