Angelfish Problem... Help?

So, yesterday night my Sim Melvin randomly combusted into flames but I want to revive him with Ambrosia. I have all the possible ingredients, Deathflowers, Youth Potion, except the Angelfish.

Are some fishes only able to show up during certain seasons? I don't remember this being the case but maybe it is now? Cause I've spend hours upon hours visiting every fishing spot in Willow Creek, inspected the water, fished. And none have the Angelfish. Even when I inspect the waters I manage to find all possible fish except the Angelfish which normally was no problem for me to find on older laptops.

I tried to go into build mode to spawn an Angelfish for me, but my Sim can't grab that one so I guess I really need to find one. But how do I do that when I've literally gone to every single fishing spot, caught every possible fish in Willow Creek except the one and only Angelfish?

  • According to the Notebook, Angelfish is caught with "Organic" bait, I caught one using Garlic, but the icon for "organic" is a carrot, so maybe it's all Vegetables.
I caught one in a pond in the northwest neighborhood of Newcrest.

  • @Iyasenu I'll try it out! I also looked further into it and noticed that basically anything connected to it no longer seems to spawn. Clownfish, Deathfish, can no longer find them anywhere in Willow Creek. I'll try the pond, maybe that works.
  • @Iyasenu Thank you!! That seemed to have worked. Guess they no longer exist in Willow Creek. <3
  • I was somewhat disappointed to see that Angel Fish can be purchased from the shack that sells bait by the beach in Sulani. You don't even have to "work" for it anymore.

I like when we can just buy rarer items at stands or shops. That way, when I want to work and earn it, I can and when I just want it now, I can just buy it.
  • Well, that's true. I guess if I had a favorite Sim die unexpectedly I would want to be able to resurrect him or her as fast as possible. I hadn't thought about that. I usually have my Sims save Angel Fish that they catch in an aquarium so they usually have at least one in case of emergencies.
