Angry Neighbor

I've been working with a family in San Myshuno. They have a neighbor, Victor Feng, who has been very touchy about noise. Whether it's the daughter practicing piano, or the parents practicing DJ skill on the lowest volume setting, he comes over and bangs on the door. He currently despises the entire family, including the daughter. Today, he called me an inconsiderate neighbor and swore I would pay for it. What exactly does he mean? What could or would he do about his little issue? If it looks too dangerous, I may be forced to break out my Book of Chaos and deal with him on my own terms. Better him than me.

I had the same thing happen, too. In my current save I have a small family including two vampires living in an apartment. Their only neighbor was this old woman across the way and she would make noise almost every night. I had just put the toddlers to bed, when of course the loud woohooing started and woke them up.

Since she did come to my apartment complaining about noise (only once) to which I ignored, she’s disliked by the family. So when I went pounding on her door (and this was the billionth time), she came out, my vampire sim starting yelling at her and she brushed him off. Then I got the notification: “I’m sick of your complaining!” You best bet that I was done with this lady. I had both my vampire sims travel to her apartment and y’know, try to get rid of her.

She was indestructible. I made her enraged. Nothing. I set her on fire. Nothing. I couldn’t even use MCCC! She wasn’t a vampire either. So, in the end, I added her to the household and then I was able to use MCCC. After a few minutes of looking over the many options, I decided to go with lightning. Let’s just say that now, my toddlers were finally able to sleep peacefully. :D

Well you know there is a mod called violence mod which basically enables you to hurt sims you don't like. You can choose to not kill them but there is a submenu where shall we say you can go all in like shoot the sims to the head or literally use a chainsaw on them. I used it once to kill my annoying butler who never stopped to wake up the babies (and me indirectly), that was....relieving. I know I'm bad! o:)
  • When you befriend them they are even more annoying. Good luck.
  • Sometimes bad can be good. That's one of the great things about video games and virtual worlds. They make a great outlet for the things in our heads that can't come out in RL. It let's us "get it out of our system" without harm or consequence. I don't personally fault anyone who takes out frustrations on a Sim. Better them than a real person.
  • I evict the neighbors in the building my sim moves into, solves all the problems
  • Book of Chaos is a mod. It can be found here... http://modthesims.info/d/586477
Only download one version based on the content you own. Once you get it, it can be found in the Buy Mode Catalogue as well as purchased from any bookshelf. It's listed as a skill book. Just don't store it in there. It will interfere with the "Read..." menu due to being CC.
