If he hisses a lot still, then that can account of much negativity. Otherwise, I find that traits that have been changed still persist in the Sim's behavior. Fed up with it, actually.

This ^ I removed the klepto trait from one of my aliens (dislike that trait immennsly :lol: ) and she still rolls a whim regarding it. It's not often but enough to peeve me. I have been wondering if using that 5000 satisfaction point reward potion would prevent this from happening but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I do have a teen that has the squemish trait AND the cleanliness trait and those traits are just not compatible. The poor girl.

Although I have found Vlad may vary from saved game to saved game. I haven't played him yet in preferred saved game but I have played him in two alternate saves and he is like night and day. In one, he is like you describe @Sharonia and in the other he is a sweetheart. He didn't even mind me moving in one of my Sims and last I was in that saved game, he was training her quite well and their friendship bar was quite high. In both saved game I did nothing to change him at all.

Vlad is fine the way he is
he just needs compatible bae

if its too hard to raise relationship
play some games with him and such while socializing so he has less time to hiss about

the hissing is mostly the reason sims end up hating him + the loner trait that keeps giving him stranger danger tense moodlet

or you could just give the bae some social benefits to balance it out tbh

alluring aura or something so he can't be grumpy :sunglasses:

as long as you get over stranger danger there should not be problem with raising the friendship tho

i actually accidentally made him and caleb friends when i was trying to do the opposite o_o

I removed the hissing and also the undead aura from his weaknesses so I know those aren't the issue. As @Nindigo said it's as if he's retained behavior of a trait even though it's been changed. I might as well change his trait back and just see how it goes. It's not like I'm expecting him to be friends with everybody. I just want him to maintain a good relationship with his wife. I put a lot of effort into building their relationship to full of both bars before allowing them to be married and now Vlad is ruining it all.

Erratic does make sims horrible to other sims. It's why I've stopped using it. I like the other aspects of it but then they'll turn round and be mean to someone they love and it's like... no, thank you.

Yeah I didn't think the erratic trait would be so annoying. I've put his evil trait back. If he's going to be a douche either way then he might as well have his original traits. I've repaired their relationship and will see how things go. Maybe it can be a personal challenge of mine to keep this marriage going strong. :D

Well, he is evil. Being miserable to others is in his nature.
