Why my vamps are so annoying lately? They literally turn into a bat to walk 2 steps, I don't remember this happening before, they used to walk longer distances. It's like they got lazy since the last patch :s is this a new issue or it's only happening in my game? Edit: just a example I remembered: when a group conversation is going to happen, the vampire turns into a bat and fly like one step to the right to open space in the group for the new sim! It's like a whole new level of the musical chairs problem. When you think it can't get worse...

I noticed that as well, I thought I was just misremembering the distances.

From memory, they only entered the bat form when if they have to leave the “room” they are currently in, or when a Sim would normally “run”. Walking within the same room, or within walking distance shouldn’t cause the bat form to occur. I believe there is also a bug from the last patch where Sims will run distances that make more sense to walk (my Sim ran from her front door to her mailbox for example) But it doesn’t always happen.

Yup. Sounds like another bug. I've got a Vampire flying around an apartment I modified to be a one room studio. Now I only use the mystical traveling powers outdoors or in large venues. And yet, why walk two steps to the fridge? When you can FLY? lol

Yeah I thought I imagined the whole thing, but it's a issue then. I hope they fix it, for now my vamps won't use bat/mist form, the animation takes too long for them to use every couple of seconds. But let me say that Vlad running around at super speed is the weirdest thing ever, I need this fixed asap :'(

Yes I've seen this. I'm beginning to think it's cause of a bug caused by the November Patch. The vampire keeps changing to a bat every 2 seconds.

I don't play with autonomy on, though. So since I was having the same issue as the OP I don't think it's autonomy related. Plus, once I started using vampiric run instead it stopped happening to my vamp
