That's why I always end up creating families :D "Now let's give him a brother... and a sister... hmm parents too..." I have ended up making a whole three generations in CAS just because of this. Grandparents, parents plus aunt/uncle and children. Yeah, they tend to have extended family right from the start.
I'm a fan of making Singles myself, which leads me into trouble of where am I going to shove all of them in my immortal save! I usually just have them end up as unhoused townies with the 300+ sims I've already made...
