Any ideas on what would cause an aging glitch only in Evergreen Harbor?

I play on a long life setting, and I never change it. I started up a new game it didn't take me long to notice that all the sims in Evergreen Harbor were older, while all the other sims in all the other towns were still in their current ages. Children were still children, teens were still teens, and sims like Dennis Kim were still alive. While the Evergreen Harbor elders had all died.

Curious I started up my template to see if anything off had happened, and sure enough, all the Evergreen Harbor sims were right on top of their birthdays. At that point in time, I had aging turned on, turned on long. As soon as time started moving, everyone in the household had their birthdays, and the elders all died. I quickly exited the game, and came back into it, this time with aging turned off. This time around I used a cheat to push everyone back to the beginning of their life stages. I had also placed another YA sim in Evergreen Harbor as well, and I had to also fix her age. This sim I knew for sure should not have been that old. I went around to the other towns in the game and they are all where they should be.

If for some reason the life length setting did get adjusted (which it did not) then all the sims in all the other towns would have been affected, and not just Evergreen Harbor. Any ideas on what would cause this aging glitch just in Evergreen Harbor?
