Any Polygamous/Polyamory Houses?

Usually my families are what you would consider normal, but every so often I just feel like doing something out of the norm. I would cheat to give everyone involved the player trait, and let them go wild. Once I even had a woman married to 3 guys (mod assistance here).

OMG I love it! LOL! How fun! I love the lady married to 3 men! That sounds fun! I will have to try that! I found the cutest little 3 house townhouse that is PERFECT for my starting family while I build the main house.

I just love quirky stories!

My mom absolutely adores 'Big Love' and 'Sister Wives'...I guess with mods I could do it lol. The closest I had was testing how a woohoo club would work. (It was definitely an experience.)

I recently started a new save as well. With a redneck trailer park kind of family.
And well I got a little carried away. Safe to say I've done something very wrong.

I started out with two separate families. Nash and Short. Each with one main sim. Ainsley Nash and Lukas Short, with the intent on getting them together to make their own family.

Well Ainsley was living with her mother and sister. They moved into Johnny Zest's lot. Soon after johnny tragically drowned.
Ainsley has family related traits and wants a big family.


Lukas was living with his evil, mean, hotheaded father Rex.
Lukas is a mean, jealous, slob with the serial romantic asperation.


Lukas and Ainsley started dating, but being the person he is he was seeing other women on the side. Well there was one in particular, that he developed a romantic relationship with while I was playing the Nash household. So I decided Lukas was to get Annabelle Billingsley Pregnant. Few days later he gets a call, she had a baby girl.


At this point I decided to play a bit with the Billingsley houshold. Well sure enough Annabelle starts getting to know Rex, Lukas father. One thing leads to another and she is now pregnant with another Short baby.


So Annabelle now has two children. Marielle and Sri. A girl and a boy. Half siblings. Sri's father Rex, is Marielles grandfather and Marielle's Father Lukas, is her brother Sri's brother.... So Marielle's Brother is brothers with her father... Oh my goodness. It hurts my brain to think about it.


Well eventually Ainsley moves in with Lukas and Rex. She has baby number one. A girl. Then gets pregnant with baby number two (both are Lukas babies) At this point Lukas pops the big question and they get married during her 3rd trimester. She goes into labour as the wedding party is coming to an end (Perfect timing!) It was a beautiful backyard trailer park wedding. I put all of their savings into it. Unfortunately the morning of the wedding Ainsley developed the giggly rash.


Marielle was not at all happy during the ceremony



So I guess this makes Ainsley, Marielle's step mother and Sri's sister in law? I have a feeling this is going to be a very tangled web, once the children start having their own children. How far can I take it.

i haven't played any sims like that yet, but i've got a sim named Blair that i was considering doing this with... kinda.

i want her to be a vampire and i think she'll have one vampire "soulmate", who she might marry, but also a few human lovers that live with her... who she will drink from when her thirst bar is low, lol.

also - just watched all of big love a couple months back, i really enjoyed it.

I don't remember the user's name, but he had a sim with a half dozen girlfriends and none of them got jealous. I think he used a cheat to give his sim the Player trait but I'm not sure.

I had a part of my main story where one sim was dating 3 people (who were all relatives) but then she ended up with just two of them. I kind of meant for them to meet other people and only one of them to be with her but then they had kids and what not.

I wanted to create a polyamorous household, but it didn't really work - mainly because of the built-in reactions of the game. But you'd think that a combination of non-committal and romantic should work in favour of this constellation. Sims has quite strict morals and ethics, probably to be attractive in many places of the world, but especially the US. So anything that is too alternative or open-minded isn't going to work without mods, I suspect.

I don't but I tried to remove the string for woohoo and it's gone pretty wild... I had a sim that always used the flirty introduction and whoohooed everyone she met... and she did it by herself.
