Uh, yeah. I am currently watching a twitch streamer play with the new expansion and their game is having infinite loading bugs. They are not using any mods.
Not at all. Afraid, I mean... Because I simply never do it patch day or very near๐
I can play safely offline, admire beautiful pictures this community posts about new pack, be so jealous I cannot do it myself, lol,...
Good side:When I am finally not so lazy-bum and update my mods, those are all updated by then ๐

From the six confirmed new bugs is only one fixed (Parenthood: Simology panel). The other five are still open. If you play with mods in your game, a lot of those still need updates. This patch was the worst gamebreaker in a long time, might be even the worst of all.
Regarding this, I would wait until the dust has settled a bit and we have a better view on the aftermath.

I updated before knowing about the bugs. I didn't open my game until last night with the new emergency patch, Lovestruck downloaded, and only updated mods. I still did not play in Live mode but had no trouble updating my played families in CAS.

I have started to play in live mode. I haven't had mean Sims, but I do have the new pack which might be a factor.
It's gone pretty well, but I haven't been able to cuddle in bed. It may be where I have the beds placed, but all other interactions work fine.
I've also had some LE's that don't seem to be mod related, but have something to do with relationship decay. They may be related to the dating actions.
Obviously I want to investigate these further but so far my game isn't burning to the ground.
I do understand you, but I prefer to have the game always updated, while I leave my precious saves and other stuff like Tray on the desktop, so I can enjoy the new features and wait until the game reaches a stable version.

Yep I am terrified. Even though they fixed the glitch with the flashing I hear other people saying they can't download new expansion pack, game won't play etc. I wanted to get the ep, but I am too afraid to patch up. I don't know if I will stop being afraid or be able to convince myself to patch.

I updated and have also had no issues so far thankfully. I do play with mods and all of mine have been updated.

Oh YEAH!! This latest patch ๐ถsucks~~~๐ถ but you can't play if you don't update, so JOIN US IN THIS TERROR!!!!! Oh, and it was decent for me, until I activated mods, and my game despised me (๐ถI hate it, it hates me, no one wins aw seriously, let's quit playing until it's fixed, because patch has ruined it๐ถ)
Have a great day/night/afternoon/morning!

I never update until all my mods are updated, so that usually gives me more time to work out if I need to leave it even longer if it's been a particular buggy patch.

My mod-less laptop game might be fine, but I dread to think of updating it on my main PC with all the mods. Would rather wait for the hotfix.
