It's been a bad update week. I ran into a new bug yesterday. lot not visible from other lots. I couldn't bulldoze what was on that lot either. I noticed the wedding venue lot was changing to generic too. I just put my backup save back into my game.

Back up your game before you patch, that way if things go wonky, you won't lose your progress altogether. I also use Better Exceptions mod, which can root out which mods/ cc aren't compatible. I had to remove a couple of mods and I could play my game. But the patch is essential, if you're going to have the new EP I never saw the hotfix patch Deaderpool mentioned, unless I misread his notice. Trust me, I've had more than one disaster after patching.

My game dose not even have the latest EP. I only update to keep the 3 mods that I have current. All my mods are working perfectly right now in my game.
What bothers me is that when I login to the EA app I have to repair it to actually log in sometimes. On top of that, once I log in and go to play sims 4, the app is asking for another update?! This will be my 3 or 4th update in 2 days... I can't even count. I am denying this most recent update7/26/24 that is showing up in my app and continuing to play the game with no extreme issues. My game is running smooth, I can save, build, and go into CAS; however, I can feel the bugs still lurking deep in the base.

I'm on the road at the moment and didn't bring my gaming laptop along this time. I patched on Tuesday, but nothing further. I didn't get a chance to download the EP, before we left, but I will do so in a few days, after we get home. The Sims I wanted this EP for are yet children, so I've got time. :) I shall see if I need the 'hotfix patch'. None was offered the last time I had a chance to play, which was last Wednesday.

Did you back up your game before you patched? If so, try putting a COPY of your backed up save file into the game you're playing. I once patched (years ago) and the game seemed to target my favorite Sim, Erik Cantrell (my Global Superstar, Rock Star). He kept dying. I complained on the forums and someone asked if I had backed up my game. I had and once I swapped out the saves folder that fixed the problem. I'm not saying with any authority, that doing so will fix what's going on in your game, only that it may be worthwhile to try it. Best of luck.
