I wouldn't worry about the no teaser either... they have a bigger event coming up and they don't have to focus on giving us a teaser. We'll get some info soon enough.
I've been reading this with some amusement. Especially about the assumptions that Sims 4 enjoyers are just rolling over and taking it. The pleas to open your eyes and minds. The comments about wishing it would die and be over with was also .. well I disagree with it. I know it's felt.. it's pretty obvious there, but I can disagree. I actually felt that way with Sims 3. When that game hit I thought I might never have another Sims game I could enjoy.. I was wrong, because this is the one. And before someone jumps on me that that's not the topic.. yes it is. People are bringing up prior iterations all the time to make their points. I couldn't tolerate that game. I didn't wish it over though.. after I got over it. I didn't think about it much until I came across news for this game.
I feel like .. basically as I stated before they are broadening some areas putting out packs as they are. I don't feel like this is game only suitable for children or that it's basic in the least either. It does not have a lot of controversial things in it compared to prior games that is true.. but there are reasons for that. Reasons I can accept. It also is made to run with more stability on different consumers computers.. changes had to be made and they bit the bullet and did that. I think the biggest problem for many simmers that enjoy this game now is the want for instant gratification. It is a slow process to get new packs and for some I think that must feel like pulling teeth. For me I decided to enjoy the sim ride again finally, because I could. The packs and they way they come out now for me.. obviously a fan... is like getting excited over Christmas presents many times a year.
