I wanted to before when I first came across other such discussion there but they swear a lot and was afraid I'd break the rules by linking to conversations with devs there. Before this one there was an even better one when Sims 4 first came and after Maxis started bringing back a lot of the missing - that I really wanted to link - as other devs were talking about how talented Maxis teams were - it was how I first heard the worlds were hand made and it talked about all the pathing and how the fake roads were made - but didn't dare.
I wish I could as simmers would learn even the extreme amount of work that just goes into the worlds and the road system not being in here etc. But I won't get banned for linking to it. I've been warned before for links.
ETA -All I can suggest is join reddit if you haven't already and keep doing searches for Developers and The Sims on pc. I don't know how long they keep the old discussions there - so you may have to search the Archives too.
