I generally leave my sims alone and allow the game to dictate their looks. Seems more natural that way...and there's always someone for everyone, right? Haha.
I tend to not mess with their physical appearance or even their traits. It kind of makes for an interesting plotline in itself...can this poor unattractive sim end up dating the hottest person in town? Or will they just decide to forget romance all together and focus on making money? Or, perhaps with seasons, controlling the weather?
It's also kind of fun to put our fashion skills to the test...what kind of clothes, makeup, hair, or gym time can make this poor sim look their best?
