Anyone else having trouble launching the game?

I couldn't log in to the EA app, so I closed the app and reopened it and it said the launcher was missing. Then I tried to launch The Sims from my Start Menu, and it said I needed Origin. Which I thought was weird. But I thought maybe the EA app was having problems and they switched back to Origin (I wish, because my EA app does keep logging me out and/or shutting itself down). So I installed Origin, and when I tried to launch it, it said I needed the EA app. Sigh. So I tried to reinstall the EA app and it said it was already installed. But still said the launcher was missing when I tried to launch it. So I hit Repair, and now the app opens, but when I try to start TS4 from it, it says there's a problem on their end and to try again later.

Since the error says it's on their end, I don't want to do anything major like reinstall the game. Just wondering if I'm the only one having trouble or if anyone else has seen similar.
