Just out of curiosity how often do your Sims hug each other? My Sims hug each other so much it's almost irritating. Out of all the interactions they autonomously do, the always choose that one over and over. One Sim will walk away after a hug, then walk back for another hug. No matter the personality, or traits, it almost seems like a type of glitch IMO because it constantly happens.I have plenty of stuff for them to do, computers, chess tables, stereo's, TV's, etc, but whenever they go to interact, it's always the hug interaction and never anything else. So is it just me or is it something others notice as well?

Yes! Yes! Always. It bugs me a lot.

I have my sims eating together at a table and tell one to say something to the other, they get up and hug before they will speak. SOOOOO annoying!

I have my sims eating together at a table and tell one to say something to the other, they get up and hug before they will speak. SOOOOO annoying!

Like, they'll do a greeting before any actual conversation if it's been a while since they've last chatted, even if they live in the same house.

Ok. So I am not the only one then. Thanks for all your replies. I saw that EA looked into it about a year ago and I guess they didn't deem it an issue.

Same, but I think it means they want to talk and I have to pick some interaction. In my game it's rare they start conversation on their own.

you're not the only one and i added to the complaint a few days ago, after i finally reset a pair of toddlers, at about the 20th hug in a row.

Yes! It’s ridiculous especially after you have made them be mean to each other. Very unrealistic.
