Anyone get famous using acting then quit acting?

The only time I got my sim to the top of acting I had to wipe my computer. I never got the chance. Your sim could leave show business, explore the jungle or open a pet clinic. Maybe a have a comeback in Del Sol Valley later in life.

I had a sim get to the top of the caring career/highest fame level, then had her quit to become a stay at home mom.

My sim is a global superstar and has been for some time. After she becomes an adult, she will open a florists shop as she is also lvl 10 floral designer. She lives in the smaller of the 3 celebrity homes alone as she has had a disastrous love life. I kinda hate to have her quit when she gets so much for an acting gig, $70,000-80,000 (Mod that increases payout for acting.)

I did. I found that the acting career, for me was a once and done type thing. I have no real desire to ever do it again. The sim I maxed became a painter and carried on his fame into his painting career. It worked great for maintaining his high level celebrity into elderhood with no problems.
