Anyone marry Patchy?

I've befriended Patchy. He's my soulmate/boyfriend. I've been trying for several Sims day to get him to move in or to get the proposal prompt to come up...nothing. We can woohoo, but try for baby doesn't appear either. I'm doing a Castaway challenge where my sim is living on her lot, but there is no house. She's to survive the elements for a year before she gets "rescue". I purchased Patchy for her to have someone to talk to (I figured it was like the social bunny), so it doesn't really matter if she will be able to marry him or not, I just thought it would be fun for her to imagine she married him...ya know since she's been stranded for half a year without any human contact. LOL
