Anyone not into using mods or DLC? If you aren't into mods or packs, why?

I'm in-between. I mean play without mods, but have most of the DLC. I have had sims 4 since the year it came out and apart from two short mod experimentations I've played vanilla all the time. I also played my first half a year without any DLC. I don't use cheats much, but what comes with the DLC is fair game for me and also I love all my DLC.
