I am currently playing the no skills, no problem scenario and love it, because it is a challenge and you can still have story. You can start with a starter house with bed, toilet and fridge as stated above because the challenge only zeroes your money once you bought your house and start the gameplay ;) It does not feel rushed, my sim is currently 6 days from aging to an elder and she will deffinetly achieve her 400 000 simoleons goal before then, I guess probably the second day back at work it should be done :)
