anyone notice the glowing red eyes in a bush to the right at sylvan glade?

I saw that too, and got excited until I realized I couldn't do anything with them. Too bad that area is good for nothing but fishing, picking plants, and looking for frogs--all stuff that can be done elsewhere. I think places we can unlock should have more to offer.... I haven't been back since that first time. Don't see a reason for it.
