I like the apartment gameplay but I find the exterior/hallways of the apartments quite ugly and I don't like that we can't change the hallways, the front door, the exterior windows (not even the swatches). Even in penthouses where we can build freely, I always feel like I need to match the exterior to the lower floors or it will look out of place, which again look quite ugly in my opinion. Because I this, I tend to play mostly with houses.
