Apartments or houses?
Just curious as to how your play styles might differ / relate to my own! I've been trying to play in a high rise apartment, but its always a small, idyllic suburb in Newcrest that takes my vote. ...

House... normally.
I've been trying out the apartment next to Geeta and Raj (the "Needs TLC" one) and have been having fun tormenting my Sims with those horrible neighbors!
You can't deny that having Geeta yell at you to "keep it down" just because you're washing a dish truly is a sign that living here is gonna be "fun"!
Honestly, my Sim got back home about midnight, so I had her eat some leftover (tofu hotdogs) before going to bed. She didn't slam the fridge or anything. She is tired and hungry, but her other needs are ok for now. As soon as she gets to washing her plate, Geeta pounds on her door, saying to keep it down!
Either the apartment walls are toilet paper thin, or there's a "water hammer" effect (water pipes vibration causing a knocking) going on between the walls! In either case, my Sim didn't have her stereo on, or nothing. She was on her way to bed. Go figure... :/
